I bring a total of about 11 years’ experience where I have actively worked across every component in the DG framework.

A lot of those years were at the operational level where I helped write policy documents, conduct workshops, conduct training sessions, run DQ checks, building business glossaries, data catalogs, mapping critical data to systems, tracking that data through key business processes. I have also been involved in building DQ scorecards, dashboards and reporting artefacts.

But more recently over the last 2 to 3 years, I have operated at the strategic DG level converting business and data strategy into relatable DG SOW’s, building and fostering relationships and interacting with senior/C-suite stakeholders in securing active engagement. I have conducted maturity assessments, developed implementation roadmaps incorporating staffing budgets. I have also worked with project and change management teams in embedding DG and DQ processes into BAU workflows.

I have mentored several people: turning them into junior DG and DQ analysts as part of building a new DG business capability in the business.

The result of all of these is that I’ve helped businesses build a DQ-By-Design culture that has resulted in reduction in manual processes, improved customer experience, helped meet regulatory requirements, improved operational efficiencies that have driven down operational costs.
